How far in advance should I shop for my bridal gown?
It is ideal to begin looking for your
bridal gown 8-12 months ahead. That allows you to narrow down your
selection and ensure you get the gown that you’ve dreamed of.
Most wedding gowns take approximately 4-6 months to arrive, so it
is essential to have ample time and allow extra for any alterations,
should these be needed. Gowns may be available on a rush order for
an additional charge, and some gowns may be purchased directly from
the selection we have in the boutique, provided it is the correct
size for you.
What should I bring with me?
We recommend you bring a pair of shoes
with a heel comparable to that which you plan to wear on your wedding
day. This way we can measure the dress length correctly taking into
account the height of your shoes. If you have any photos with dress
styles you like, we encourage you to bring those to help us define
your ideal bridal look. Also, we welcome any friends or family you’d
like to bring with you to help you decide. We recommend you bring
someone whose opinion you value and trust; however, keep in mind
that too many opinions can cause confusion and frustration. Complimentary
refreshments and snacks will be provided during your bridal consultation
to you and your accompanying party.
Do you have each of your designers’
dresses available at the store?
We carry a generous sample of each
designer’s dresses in our boutique so you can see the excellence
in quality and craftsmanship that each dress offers. These are available
for you to try on. If there is one particular style from our designers
that we do not have in the boutique, we are able to special order
it for you in your size.
What is the price of a wedding
gown?
Eleganza Bridal Boutique carries only the finest of designers. Our
prices range from $1,200 to $5,000.
Are appointments required for
trying on wedding gowns?
No, we welcome walk-ins at any time
during business hours but we recommend you make an appointment so
we can provide you with individualized attention.
What if I plan to lose weight
before my wedding?
Purchasing a smaller-sized gown than
you currently wear is not recommended. It is always easier to take-in
than to let-out. Generally, alterations cannot increase the size
of a gown but they can make a slightly loose gown fit perfectly.
In some cases, gowns can be custom ordered to fit your exact body
measurements if your body does not conform to the designer’s
sizing measurements.
Do you provide alterations?
We currently do not have an in-house
seamstress but we are able to refer you to excellent seamstresses
that specialize in wedding gowns and are close to our store. The
referrals we provide are only for the convenience of our brides.
However, you are free to select the seamstress of your choice.
Can my bridesmaids, mother or mother in-law find a dress at Eleganza
Bridal Boutique?
Of course! We offer a wide variety
of styles for bridesmaids of all ages, including styles for pregnant
bridesmaids. For your mom or soon-to-be mother-in-law, we also have
elegant and distinguished styles available. We will also be carrying
a line for flower girls soon.
